EARLY YEARS FUNDING

Little Explorers Montessori Nursery accepts government Early Years Funding and childcare vouchers. If you wish to pay using childcare vouchers, please contact us by email and inform us of the voucher scheme you are registered with.

“15 Hours EYF” – Stretched Funding

The universal entitlement of 570 hours per year is equivalent to 15 hours per week over 38 weeks (term-time only).

At Little Explorers Montessori Nursery, we offer stretched funding across 50 weeks of the year. This equates to 11.4 funded hours per week. 

 

“30 Hours EYF” – Stretched Funding

The extended entitlement of 1140 hours per year is equivalent to 30 hours per week over 38 weeks (term-time only).

When stretched across our 50-week provision, this equates to 22.8 funded hours per week.

These funded hours will be deducted from your child’s total weekly attendance at nursery. If your child attends fewer hours than their entitlement, their place will be fully funded. If they attend more hours than their entitlement, you will be required to pay the difference. Any additional hours will be charged at the applicable hourly rate, according to your child’s attendance pattern, as outlined in the table above.

 

Once your child is registered with us, we will provide the necessary forms each term for you to access your Early Years Funding entitlement within our setting.

Additional Charges

 

While Early Years Funding covers the cost of childcare provision, it does not include additional items such as breakfasts, snacks, nappies, nappy cream, wipes, sun cream.

 

To ensure the continued quality and sustainability of our provision, a daily charge will apply for these items:

Price per day:

Consumables: nappies, nappy cream, wipes, sun cream, …(as needed per day):  £2.10

Meals: 1 breakfast and 2 snacks per day: £2.80
